NEIGHBORHOOD INVESTMENT PROGRAM (NIP)
WE HAVE USED ALL OF OUR NIP CREDITS. PLEASE CHECK BACK IN OCTOBER 2023 FOR NIP INFORMATION.
The Apollo Civic Theatre has received a number of Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) Tax Credits. NIP credits are administered by the state to encourage donations to local nonprofits.
The minimum donation to qualify for a tax credit is $500 and the maximum is $200,000. Donors have five years to use their credits.
An example, a donation of $500 qualifies for up to $250 off of your West Virginia personal income or corporate net income taxes. That means donors can have a $500 impact for a bottom-line cost of only $250.
Our NIPS credits are used for our Youth Theatre Programs. Youth who participate in the arts makes kids better readers and has a large impact on academic and career success.
For more information on the NIP Program, visit: https://wvcad.org/sustainability/neighborhood-investment-program
Mail a check to the address listed above. (This is preferred, as there are no fees associated with your donation and the Apollo receives the full amount to put toward the programs). Or select the NIP donation entry and enter an amount of 500.00 or more.
