Join our Stage Players (14-18 with one adult guest artist as Marmee) for this beautiful musical version of Louisa May Alcott's classic story. Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested - her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America.
Set in an East Village park in 1967, Hair is the musical story of a group of hippies who celebrate peace and love in the shadow of the Vietnam War. The loose plotline centers on Berger, the charismatic leader of the “tribe,” and Claude, a sweet-natured guy from Queens who’s about to be drafted. Other memorable characters include Berger’s war protester girlfriend Sheila, lovable flower child Crissy, Mick Jagger fan Woof, Claude’s straight-laced parents and many more. But the real star of Hair is the rocking score, which includes such classic hits as “Let the Sun Shine In,” “Aquarius” and “Good Morning Starshine.”
From the award winning composer of The Addams Family & The Wild Party, starring Brian Herrick and Jennie Santiago. John & Jen is an emotional rollercoaster that explores the dynamics of family relationships.
A Sondheim Musical, Assassins explores the lives of nine men and women who either killed (or tried to kill) one of the Presidents of the United States. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald and beyond, the stories of our country’s most successful and would-be assassins intersect in unexpected ways, creating a powerful, yet unnervingly funny look at some of the most shocking moments in U.S. history.
Based on Charles Dickens' unfinished novel of the same name, The Mystery of Edwin Drood uses the world of music hall and pantomime as a backdrop, following the exploits of members of the Theatre Royale Music Hall Company as they attempt to complete the unfinished story of Edwin Drood—with some sing-along help from the audience!
